Ihsan Abdel Quddous (Egyptian Arabic: إحسان عبد القدوس‎ ʼIḥsān ʻAbd el-Quddūs, ) (1 January 1919 – 11 January 1990) was an Egyptian writer, novelist, and journalist and editor in Egypt's Al Akhbar and Al-Ahram newspapers. He is known to have written many novels that have been adapted in films.
