Jahanzeb Qamar (Urdu: جہانزیب قمر) is a Pakistani playwright, scriptwriter and drama writer. Qamar started his career in 2000 after completing his bachelor's in chemical engineering, as a playwright from PTV Lahore center. He wrote many memorable plays including, Tapti Chaan for which he earned an PTV Best Independent Playwrighter Award in 2002, Jahanzeb considered Muneeza Hashmi his mentor and teacher due to her, Qamar entered Pakistan TV industry. His memorable plays are Din Dhallay, Ik Nazar Mere Taraf, Main Hari Piya and Tera Pyar Nahi Bhoole. His long lasting relation with Pakistan Television Corporation has earned a great fame and reputed place in industry.
