James Alexander Owen (September 6, 1891 – July 6, 1955) was an American physician and politician from Mississippi who was also active in Cleveland and Detroit, Ohio. Dr. Owen was a member of the board of Trustees for the National Medical Association and was frequently credited for his efforts in the Journal of the National Medical Association.
