James Coley (born April 14, 1973, in Miami, Florida) is the Offensive Coordinator and QB coach at the University of Miami. Coley, a Miami native who played quarterback at Miami Senior High School and worked in the NFL as an offensive assistant and quality control coach with the Miami Dolphins, has coached some of the top talent in college football at the high school, college and pro levels. His coaching resume includes stops at 2003 National Champion Louisiana State University and 2002 Florida 6A State Champion Miami Norland Senior High School, in addition to his experiences with the Miami Dolphins. Coley was labelled and considered the ACC top recruiter by ESPN recruiting. Coley is considered to be an ace recruiter in the talent-rich South Florida area.
