Jamshid Giunashvili (Georgian: ჯემშიდ გიუნაშვილი; 1 May 1931 – 21 January 2017) was a Georgian linguist, Iranologist, researcher, author, and diplomat, having served as the first ambassador of Georgia to Iran for a period of ten years. He is a graduate of Tbilisi State University with a doctors degree in Iranian studies. He was born in Tehran, Iran.
