Janet Gordon Hering (born 1958) is the Director of the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology and Professor of Biogeochemistry at ETH Zurich and EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). She works on the biogeochemical cycling of trace elements in water and the management of water infrastructure.
