Jeremy Norcliffe Haslehurst Lawrance FBA (born 12 December 1952) is a Ugandan born British linguist and historian. Professor at Manchester and later at Nottingham, and Fellow of the British Academy since 2011, he was President of the Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland from 2004 to 2006.
