Jessica Baglow was born in 1989 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. She is an actress, known for 'Gentleman Jack (TV series)', 'Apostasy (2017 film)' and 'Waterloo Road (TV series)'. Baglow began her acting career at the age of 7, starring as Pam Ferris's daughter, Lucy Snow, in the popular ITV series, 'Where The Heart Is', for six seasons. Starring Pam Ferris ('The Darling Buds of May') and Sarah Lancashire ('Clocking Off'), this series attracted more than ten million viewers in the UK. The series was nominated for four National Television Awards between 1997 and 1998 for most popular actress and most popular drama. A hugely successful prime-time drama, 'Where the Heart Is' features an engaging story of family, love and life and people's ever-changing fortunes in rural England. Set against the rugged landscape of Yorkshire, this popular programme follows the busy public and private lives of district nurses, as they bring nursing and emotional care to the needy young and old alike. As a teenager she went on to appear in the first series of BBC's 'The Street (British TV series)' (written by Jimmy McGovern). 'The Street' won both the British Academy Television Award for Best Drama Series and RTS Television Award for Drama Series twice, in 2007 and 2008. It also won two International Emmy Awards in November 2007 for Best Drama and Best Actor (Jim Broadbent). At the age of 18, Baglow was cast as schoolgirl, Karla Bentham, in the long running school drama series 'Waterloo Road' (series 3). Baglow subsequently trained at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) graduating in 2012.
