Alfred John Evans MC* (1 May 1889 – 18 September 1960), known as John Evans, was an English amateur cricketer who played mainly for Oxford University and Kent County Cricket Club whom he captained in 1927. Evans also played for Hampshire and made one Test match appearance for the English cricket team in 1921.
