John C. Olson (December 4, 1906 – July 2, 1981) was a Minnesota politician and a member of the Minnesota Senate from southwestern Minnesota. First elected in 1958 when he defeated incumbent senator A. A. "Andy" Anderson of Luverne, Olson was re-elected in 1962, 1966, 1970 and 1972. He represented the old districts 11, 19 and 26, which included all or portions of Murray, Nobles, Pipestone and Rock counties, changing somewhat through redistricting in 1960 and 1970.
