Dr. John Omagino is a distinguished Ugandan thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon and medical administrator who serves as the Executive Director of the Uganda Heart Institute (UHI). Born in Uganda around 1970, Omagino has dedicated his career to advancing cardiovascular medicine in Uganda and East Africa, becoming one of the region's most prominent cardiac surgeons and healthcare leaders. He is also a member of the board of directors of UHI.
