John Vernon Bartlett CBE FREng (1927 – 17 November 2021) was a British civil engineer, particularly associated with developments in tunnelling technologies. He was President of the Institution of Civil Engineers from November 1982 to November 1983, and has received various industry honours including the Telford and Sir Frank Whittle Medals.
