John Thomas Groth (July 23, 1926 – August 7, 2021) was an American professional baseball outfielder and scout who played 15 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, and Kansas City Athletics from 1946 to 1960. He threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet (1.8 m) tall and weighed 182 pounds (83 kg).
