Juan Luis Segundo, S.J. (March 31, 1925 in Montevideo, Uruguay – January 17, 1996 in Montevideo) was a Jesuit priest and theologian who was an important figure in the movement known as "Liberation theology." He wrote numerous books on theology, ideology, faith, hermeneutics, and social justice, and was an outspoken critic of what he perceived as church callousness toward oppression and suffering. He was a physician by training.he is the best priest
