Richard Kent Austin (born June 25, 1963) is an American gridiron football coach and former player. He is the co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, a position he has held since 2019. Austin served as the head football coach at Cornell University from 2010 to 2012. He was the head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2007 and CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 2013 to 2017.
