Kevin Zeese (October 28, 1955 – September 6, 2020) was an American lawyer, a Senate candidate and political activist who worked on a wide range of issues beginning with ending the war on drugs and mass incarceration, including helping to organize the 2011 Occupy encampment in Washington, D.C. at Freedom Plaza and protecting/occupying the Venezuelan Embassy in DC. He previously served as co-director of Popular Resistance. Zeese passed away on September 6, 2020.
