Kurt Thomas Travis (born January 16, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter and musician, the former lead vocalist for post-hardcore bands Dance Gavin Dance (2007–2010) and A Lot Like Birds (2011–2016). Shortly following the release of A Lot Like Birds' album Conversation Piece (2011), Travis released his solo EP album, Wha Happen?, through Doghouse Records in January 2012. In March 2013, Travis released a self-titled second EP through Equal Vision Records.
