Dr. Lawrence A. May (born 1948) is an American physician, author and public speaker. He was voted one of the Best Doctors in Los Angeles and one of the Best Doctors in America by Los Angeles Magazine. He is the former chairman of Herbalife Medical Advisory Board. May has appeared on numerous television programs as a medical authority. He also represents (Pitchman) the claimed "natural remedy" Proventol sold on late night television targeting older men with prostrate problems. This product has had no FDA approvals showing it to be effective or any double blind studies. It is widely regarded as a sham and he is their pitchman. He should be ashamed of himself! He appears to have sacrificed his values for dollars as many do. He may be a great guy or doctor and obviously, well educated but not sure why he would want to be associated with a product that is so sketchy. He is also the clinical director for Targeted Medical Pharma, Inc.
