Leighton Paul Schubert (born July 14, 1982) is an American lawyer who served from 2015 to 2018 as a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 13 (Austin, Burleson, Colorado, Fayette, Grimes, Lavaca, and Washington counties). On February 17, 2015, he won a special election to succeed fellow Republican Lois Kolkhorst, who was instead elected to the Texas State Senate. Schubert resigned his House seat in February 2018 to take a position at Blinn College in his native Brenham in Washington County, Texas.
