Leiji Matsumoto (松本零士, Matsumoto Reiji, born Akira Matsumoto 松本晟, January 25, 1938 – February 13, 2023) was a Japanese mangaka, creator of several anime and manga series. His wife Miyako Maki is also a manga artist.
