About

Léonie Martin (3 June 1863 – 16 June 1941) was a French Roman Catholic nun who led a cloistered life as part of the Visitation Sisters. More notable is the fact that she is the daughter of Blessed Louis Martin and Marie-Azélie Guérin Martin and is the sister of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux. She is sometimes dubbed Thérèse's "difficult sister". She assumed the name of "Françoise-Thérèse".
