Loriann Hoff Oberlin (born June 2, 1961) is an American writer and author as well as a licensed clinical professional counselor. She has co-written Overcoming Passive-Aggression: How To Stop Hidden Anger From Spoiling Your Relationships, Career and Happiness as well as The Angry Child: Regaining Control When Your Child Is Out of Control. She is also the author of Surviving Separation and Divorce, in addition to several other non-fiction books. In addition, she writes fiction using the pen name Lauren Monroe. Her first novel, published in 2014, was titled Letting Go: Book One of The Maryland Shores. She wrote a second novel in the series titled "Second Chances: Book Two of The Maryland Shores" that was released in 2015.
