Louisa Beaman (February 7, 1815 - May 16, 1850) was a follower of LDS Prophet Joseph Smith, reported to be Smith's "first plural wife". She had migrated with Mormons to Nauvoo in 1839 or 1840. It is reported that on April 5, 1841, Louisa married Joseph Smith “in a grove Near Main Street in the City of Nauvoo, The Prophet Joseph dictating the ceremony and Br Nobles repeating it after him.”
