Luca Zingaretti (born 11 November 1961) is an Italian actor, known for playing Salvo Montalbano in the Inspector Montalbano mystery series based on the character and novels created by Andrea Camilleri. Zingaretti is a native of Rome. He is the older brother of politician Nicola Zingaretti.
