Lucía Benigna Corpacci was born in San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, Argentina, on December 4, 1959, daughter of Sebastián Corpacci and Teresa Saadi. After an outstanding medical career in Córdoba, Buenos Aires and Catamarca, entered politics, being elected by the people of Catamarca Vice-Governor (2007), National Senator (2009) and Governor twice (2011 and 2015).
