Margaret Fitzgerald, née King (September 16, 1896 – October 20, 2009), was a Canadian supercentenarian who was the oldest person in Canada from 2007 until her death in 2009. She attained this title at age 110 years 124 days, after the death of 115-year-old fellow Canadian, Julie Winnefred Bertrand, on January 18, 2007. Fitzgerald died of natural causes at the age of 113 in a nursing home in New Brunswick on October 20, 2009.
