Mariana Atencio (born April 2, 1984) is an American television host, author and motivational speaker who was formerly a correspondent for MSNBC and NBC News. Atencio is a native of Venezuela and holds a master's degree from Columbia University’s Journalism School. She is also known for her popular TEDx talk, and her story is featured in the award-winning HBO series Habla Now, as one of the Latinos defining the decade in America.
