Marion Hartzog Smoak (July 8, 1916 – May 4, 2020) was a Republican South Carolina State Senator who also served as United States Chief of Protocol under President Richard M. Nixon from 1969 to 1974 and was a member of Ronald Reagan's presidential campaign staff and transition team in 1980.
