Mark David Bright (born December 22, 1959 in Longview, Texas) is an American, multi-award winning record producer, songwriter, and publishing company executive. His production projects include Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Shakira, A Rocket To The Moon, Reba McEntire, Sara Evans, The Swon Brothers, and Scotty McCreery, among many others. His initial success in production was launched with the group Blackhawk, which resulted in two #1 singles, nine Top Ten singles, and multi-platinum record sales for the group. Bright produced the three-week #1 hit, Sara Evans Real Fine Place To Start, as well as Reba McEntire’s longest running #1 Consider Me Gone.
