Martin Reuben Gainsbrugh (January 29, 1907 – April 1977) was an American economist, practicing statistician, author, and educator, He was Vice-President and Chief Economist of The Conference Board, Adjunct Professor at the New York University, and president of the American Statistical Association in 1961.
