Masao Maruyama (丸山 正雄, Maruyama Masao, born June 19, 1941) is a Japanese anime producer, the co-founder of Madhouse, founder of MAPPA and Studio M2. Born in Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture, he is a 40-plus year veteran of the animation business.
