Matthew "Mattie" McDonagh (1936 – 11 April 2005) was an Irish sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local club Ballygar and was a member of the Galway senior inter-county team from 1956 until 1968. McDonagh later served as manager of the Galway team. He is regarded as one of the greatest Galway players of all-time.
