Maureen Patricia Duffy (born 21 October 1933) is an English poet, playwright, novelist and non-fiction author. A longstanding activist, including on such issues as gay rights and animal rights, she is known especially for campaigning on behalf of authors. She is a recipient of the Benson Medal for her lifelong writings.
