Maurice James Dixon (6 February 1929 – 29 July 2004) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A wing three quarter, Dixon represented Canterbury at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1953 to 1957. He played 28 matches for the All Blacks including ten internationals. He later served as a selector for Canterbury (1963–65, 1968–71) and South Island (1976–80).
