Max Avelyevich Kyuss (Russian: Макс Авельевич Кюсс, March 20, 1874 – 1942) was a Russian and Soviet musician, conductor and composer, primarily in the Russian and Soviet military. He is most famous for composing the waltz Amur Waves.
