Mimilanie "Melanie" Laurel Marquez-Lawyer (born 16 July 1964) is a Filipino personality development coach, actress, film producer, author, and celebrity endorser. She is a beauty queen and former supermodel from the Philippines who won the Miss International 1979 competition in Tokyo, Japan. Her victory meant that the Philippines was the first country to win the title thrice. She was the youngest winner of Miss International in history at the age of 15 when she competed in the Miss International 1979 beauty pageant.
