Michael Finlay Parkhurst (born January 24, 1984) is a retired American soccer defender. The 2005 MLS Rookie of the Year and 2007 MLS Defender of the Year Award, he is capable of playing both center back and right back. Parkhurst has played for the United States men's national team, including being a member of three CONCACAF Gold Cup squads and participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
