Mikko Heikkinen (born 8 September 1949 in Savonlinna) is a Finnish architect. He studied architecture at Helsinki University of Technology, graduating in 1975. Together with Markku Komonen he founded Heikkinen - Komonen Architects in 1974. He had previously been employed in the architect's office of Kristian Gullichsen. Since 2010 he has been a professor of architecture at Aalto University in Helsinki. Among the notable works of Heikkinen - Komonen Architects are the Finnish Embassy in Washington DC, USA (1994), and the European Film College, Ebeltoft, Denmark (1993).
