Mow-way (1825 ca.–1886) (usually called by the whites “Shaking Hand” or “Hand Shaker”, but correctly as “Pushing-aside”, “Pushing-in-the-middle” or “Breaking-in-the-middle”), after Kuhtsu-tiesuat (“Little Buffalo”)’s, in 1864, and Tasacowadi (“Big Cougar”, “Big Spotted Cat”)’s, in 1872, death was the principal leader and war chief of the Kotsoteka band during the 1860s and 1870s.
