Mārtiņš Rubenis (born 26 September 1978) is a retired Latvian luger who competed between 1998 and 2014. He won the bronze medal at the men's singles event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, becoming the first Latvian (i.e. representing Republic of Latvia) to win a medal at the Winter Olympics and the only one from Latvia at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Following this he was chosen as Latvian Sportsman of the Year for 2006. He won his second bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi in the Team Relay event. In total he competed in five Olympics.
