Nicolás Rubén Medina (born 17 February 1982 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine footballer. He primarily plays as a central midfielder "but his adaptability to function in almost all positions in midfield is admirable. He has great ball skills" and has also played as a defender at times in his career. He has accomplished more in his international career, especially in his early years as a world champion at the 2001 FIFA U20 Youth Championship as well as a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics, than he has in his club career. His journeyman club career was chronicled by Futbol Futbol Futbol, the South American football website.
