Nikolai Demchenko (May 21, 1896 – October 30, 1937) was a Ukrainian communist Soviet politician. He was born in Kharkov Governorate. He received the Order of Lenin on December 20, 1935. During the Great Purge, he was arrested on July 22, 1937, sentenced to death by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on October 29, 1937 and executed by firing squad the next day. After the death of Joseph Stalin, he was rehabilitated.
