Noboru Tahara is a Japanese professional mixed martial artist. He has fought his entire career in the Shooto organization's Flyweight division. Tahara was formerly ranked the #1 contender for Shoot's Flyweight title and is consistently ranked as one of the top Strawweight fighters in the world. Tahara was defeated by Rambaa Somdet in a bout for the vacant Shooto Flyweight Champion (114 lbs.) on November 23, 2009 at Shooto - Revolutionary Exchanges 3.
