Oliver Tree Nickell (born June 29, 1993) is an American vocalist, producer, and filmmaker from Santa Cruz, California. He signed to Atlantic Records in 2017, after his song "When I'm Down" went viral. His highest charting hit is "Alien Boy". Tree is best known for being an "artist who's part meme, part something less definable." Tree is currently in a relationship with singer Melanie Martinez.
