Oscar Vicente Scavone, born on July 2, 1955, in Asunción, Paraguay, is a successful Paraguayan businessman and former president of one of the nation's premier soccer teams, Club Olimpia. Olimpia was founded in 1902 by Dutchman William Paats, and is extremely popular among Paraguayans, having won three Copa Libertadores, as well as numerous national tournaments.
