edit

Paul Collier is a snooker referee from Newport, Wales. He was born on 30 July 1970. He refereed several ranking final matches, including the World Snooker Championship 2004 final between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Graeme Dott where he also became the youngest referee to take charge of a World Final. In 2005 he quit the main tour, citing among his reasons the sports poor management and the subsequent financial problems snooker was facing at the time. Paul has recently re-joined the main professional tour and also works as both a Tournament Director for many major tournaments and as one of only 3 assessors of professional referees. His most recent big match was the Final of the 2015 Snooker World Cup in June, played In Wuxi, China and won by China 'B'.
