Paul Matthew Jessup (born August 24, 1977) is a United States writer of short stories, novels, poetry, and plays. His work plays with genre forms, embraces magical realism and surrealism, and challenges our assumptions on what fantasy and science fiction is and how it works and relates to reality. He is inspired by folk lore, fairy tales, and mythology. A lot of his writing falls under Weird Fiction.
