Paul McSwiney or Paul Mac Swiney (1856 – 17 November 1890) was an Irish composer and dramatist who emigrated to the United States. A talented artist with a number of pioneering performances in both Cork and New York, he unsuccessfully tried to save the Irish language among the New York Irish.
