Paul Mitchell III (November 14, 1956 – August 15, 2021) was an American businessman and politician from the state of Michigan who served as a U.S. Representative for Michigan's 10th congressional district. He was first elected in 2016. In July 2019, Mitchell announced that he would not run for re-election in 2020. While serving, he was a member of the Republican Party until he left the party in December 2020, when he announced he was becoming an independent.
