Paul Michael Romer (born November 6, 1955) is an American economist and co-recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences (shared with William Nordhaus) in 2018 for his contributions to endogenous growth theory. He was awarded the prize "for integrating technological innovations into long-run macroeconomic analysis".
